I’m 2 months ½

For the last two weeks, I have changed a lot. During the day, I’m more awake and I can see things better. I can follow people or object moving with my eyes but I haven’t figured out yet how to move my head! I have discovered that I can use my hands to grab objects or push. Today I grabbed my tissue to bring it to my mouth and pushed my bottle.

I’m a happy boy, smiling and talking all the time. I’m not crying a lot, only when I’m starving, tired or have pain. I eat a lot, every 2 hours during the day. When I’m hungry, I’m trying to eat my hand so mum knows it’s time to feed me. My mum is breastfeeding me during the night and giving me bottles during the day. I drink between 90 and 150 ml each time. I’m getting taller and fatter but no, I’m not fat! Today I went to the clinic and I weight 5.6 kg (12.5 lb).

I love to sleep. During the night, I’m starting to sleep longer hours. Before I was waking up every 3 hours, now I can sleep up to 5 hours without eating. But sometimes I wake up and don’t want to go back to bed and that drive my parents crazy. But they don’t understand I just want to sleep in their bed and not in mine. It’s bigger and more comfy than mine!

I haven’t been sick yet. Just some colic some time to time but nothing major. Today I got my first vaccine at the clinic. It hurt but my mum explained me it was to protect me against bad illness. I cried very hard but now I’m sleeping to recover. I’m a big boy so I’ll be fine!

I love taking a bath. Daddy & mummy are giving me a bath in the afternoon every day when it’s still warm. I talk and I move my arms and feet while they are washing me.  But I hate when they take me out of the water, I wish I could stay forever like a fish ;)
